New Subsidised Loans: how to submit applications

As from 09:00 hours on 27 July 2023, you can access the Portal to compile and submit loan applications.

To access the Portal, you need to join the virtual queue. When it is your turn, you will have a maximum time to compile the application. After this time has lapsed, you will have to join the queue again.

The Portal will be open from 09.00 hours to 18.00 hours, Mondays to Fridays. If you are not able to access the compilation stage of the loan application by the time indicated, you will keep your position in the queue only and exclusively when the Portal opens again the following day.

To compile the loan, you must attach all necessary documentation as indicated in the Circular, and requested when compiling the loan application. All documents must be digitally signed with the extension .p7m.

In any case, submitting an application does not entitle the applicant to have the financing approved. Approval is subject to the application being complete, the successful completion of SIMEST’s preliminary analysis process and the actual availability of financial resources.

New applications for subsidised loans under Fondo 394 (Fund 394) and relative co-funded grants are not being accepted at present.

On 29 December 2021, the Financial Support Committee, in view of resources being used up, approved the suspension, on 1 January 2022, of two extraordinary instruments supporting the trade fair system – “Contributi a fondo perduto commiserati a costi fissi non coperti” (Grants commensurate with overheads that are not covered) and “Patrimonializzazione a supporto del sistema fieristico” (Capitalisation to support the trade fair system) – for trade fair organisations and companies organising international events.
