Corporate well-being and caring for people are key to our strategy

SIMEST provides services and initiatives to constantly improve the well-being of employees and their families.

Focus on work-life balance
We adopt a flexible system, enabling remote work, and allowing people to balance their private life with company needs in the best way possible. We promote all organisational measures to ensure the right to disconnect outside normal working hours, also through numerous special agreements in the areas of well-being, sport, health and free time.
Physical and mental well-being
We offer health insurance that covers medical expenses and provides access to services at facilities with whom we have special agreements. We are also committed to prevention, offering staff the chance to have complete check-ups at regular intervals, which include laboratory and instrumental diagnostic tests, as well as specialist check-ups. Psychological counselling is also available offering support for the personal and professional spheres, and the company has a Medicorner, where specialist check-ups are available free of charge.
Parenting and Care
We are committed to supporting and empowering parenting and all forms of families, ensuring that the personal lives of our employees are always a priority. Besides statutory rights, we offer new parents additional benefits such as a welcome set, a maternity buddy and paid leave. We provide financial support for children’s education, covering their entire schooling, from nursery to university.
Life at SIMEST
We are committed to cultivating a working environment that involves not only our employees, but their families too. With the “CASA SIMEST” (SIMEST HOME) initiative, we have opened the doors of our headquarters to families and friends, giving each employee the chance to invite a loved one to share their workspace and explain our role in supporting the international growth of Italian businesses. During Family Day, the children of our employees were welcomed to a special event dedicated to “The world I’d like”, where they were able to explore their parents’ office and learn about important issues such as sustainability, pollution and climate change. In addition, the “Sustainability Days – The Common Good” gave us the chance to drill down deeper and look at various aspects of sustainability, from the environmental to the social dimension, discussing inclusion, sustainable mobility and environmental impact, thus promoting a corporate culture that cares for the common good.
Mobility and transport
We promote sustainable mobility to improve the quality of life in towns, cities and elsewhere. That’s why we support the use of urban and extra-urban transport, helping with the purchase of travel season tickets. We have ideas for bicycles and e-scooters at our offices, and have special agreements with leading shared mobility operators, and offer incentives to purchase environmentally-friendly vehicles.
First home mortgage and loans
We provide a contribution for first-time buyers, as well as personal loans, and encourage employees to voluntarily join a supplementary pension scheme, with the aim of offering a pension in addition to the state pension. Employees receive a meal voucher for each working day, as provided for in the Company’s Supplementary Employment Contract.
