Training is an indispensable pillar for personal skills development and growth opportunities.
We contribute to making SIMEST a center of excellence through our more than 40 average hours provided per employee per year, thanks to training paths designed on our people and our skills mapping that guides all company development and training initiatives.
All programs are designed and offered with the goal of evolving people’s skills, ensuring equitable participation, without any distinction (e.g., by gender, age, part-time, full-time workers).

Aim high with SIMEST
Simest offers a path dedicated to professional figures under 30.
The path that has a duration of one year aims to accompany them on their development path and strengthen their leadership skills and give them the right toolbox”” to best face future business challenges. Aim high with SIMEST is a project totally rethought from a development and training perspective where business topics alternate with training modules for strengthening the Group’s leadership skills with a focus also on DEI and cognitive BIAS issues.
Welcome and onboarding activities
At SIMEST, each new person can count on the buddy who will guide them through their first activities in the working environment and will have the task of speeding up their integration into the company fabric. Among the stages of this journey, the many initiatives include Induction meetings at Head Offices, a virtual Community, and an in-person Welcome Day, where, together with all new colleagues, they have the opportunity to learn more about SIMEST’s organisational model, training courses, welfare, and knowledge of the Strategic Plan directly with Top Management.

Learning Lab
At SIMEST, thanks to the Learning Lab, developing skills has never been easier!
The Learning Lab is the internal knowledge accelerator, the engine for the creation and dissemination of distinctive internal skills through the enhancement of SIMEST’s intellectual capital.
The project aims to train an internal faculty of trainers and develop a community of experts, starting from our People. A structured path of empowerment and transversality to stay up-to-date and delve into the most important topics.
