Training and career paths
Training at SIMEST
Training is a fundamental part of developing personal skills and opportunities for growth.
We contribute to making SIMEST a centre of excellence, through over 40 hours of training a year on average for employees, thanks to training paths designed for our people and our mapping of skills to guide all company training and development initiatives.
All programmes are designed and proposed with the aim of developing people’s skills, ensuring fair participation, without any distinction (e.g. gender, age, part-time/full-time work).

“Punta in alto con SIMEST” (Aim for the top with SIMEST)
SIMEST offers a dedicated path for professional positions under 30 years of age.
The path is for one year, and the purpose is to accompany people in their development and consolidate their leadership skills, giving them the right “toolbox” to tackle the company’s future challenges in the best way possible.
“Punta in alto con SIMEST” is a project that has been entirely redesigned from a development and training perspective, alternating business aspects with training modules to consolidate the Group’s leadership skills, with a focus on DEI and cognitive BIAS too.

Welcome and onboarding activities
At SIMEST, each new person is a given a buddy to guide them in their first activities at work, and help speed up their integration in the company. The stages of these activities and numerous initiatives include Departmental Induction meetings, a Virtual Community and in-person Welcome Day, where along with new colleagues, incoming staff have the chance to find out more about SIMEST’s organisational model, its training paths, welfare and the Strategic Plan, directly from Top Management.

Learning Lab
At SIMEST, developing skills has never been so simple, thanks to the Learning Lab!
The Learning Lab is an accelerator of internal knowledge, the engine for creating and disseminating stand-out skills, by empowering intellectual capital at SIMEST.
The aim of the project is to train an internal faculty trainer and develop a community of experts, starting from our People. It is a structured approach focussed on consolidation and an all-round dimension to keep up to date and gain insights into the most important issues.
